I was a little skeptical about the price, but if you shop around you will find that the good plastic kitchens are $70+ dollars. This one is sturdy wood. You have to put it together yourself. All the pieces are well labeled. It is easy to do. If you have ever assembled furniture, you will find this much easier. (It took me about 30 minutes with children getting in the way because they wanted to play with it.) It is heavy to move by yourself, but you will not have to worry about this kitchen falling over.

The bright colors make it a good choice for boys or girls. I have it in my first grade classroom and after school care room. It is used by children of all ages. It is a good size for older children to use and for 2 to 3 children to play with at the same time.

It is a great value for the money!
